A little bit about us
We’re Ant and Nelson and our story is a simple one! We were just two guys with a shared passion for music, playing in bands and chasing the dream. We’ve played professionally all over the country and even internationally. Fast forward 15 years and though our musical tastes have evolved, one thing has held true: we’re still as passionate about performing as we were at day one. These days, we love playing weddings and events and enjoy travelling around the country to bring a smile to people’s faces.

Growing up with a piano teacher as a father meant that learning the instrument was non-negotiable. But it just started off as a way of earning $5 pocket money from the old man for keeping up my weekly practice.
Then I discovered the guitar and everything changed. Once I picked it up, I just couldn’t put it down. I spent years as a teenager practicing 8 hours a day at the expense of declining grades at school. This passion turned into a pursuit of music as a full time career. I kept growing as a musician, learning how to write songs, produce music, and playing any gig I got asked to.
When the covid pandemic hit, the gigs stopped. So I tried my hand at being a paramedic, which opened my eyes in many ways. It taught me to cherish the moments you have with loved ones and to keep creating memories with them.
Thats why I think being a wedding musician is one of the best jobs out there. I get to be a part of helping you create those moments and memories.

I've always loved music. As far back as I can remember, my folks always had records piled up high in the lounge. All the good stuff was on offer. Dad played guitar and mum sang in choirs, so music was an integral part of life. However, the real obsession started in high school when I picked up the guitar and started singing in school choirs and productions. This lead to jamming with mates in their garages and before we knew it, we were forming original bands and chasing the dream. From there, I just fell in love with the energy of live performance.
I find that live music can really make the night for people. So whether it be a wedding, a function or a pub gig, it's always an absolute privilege to be able to play for people. It's something I don't take for granted and now that I have young kids, it also doubles as my social life!
